"We dance for laughter, we dance for tears, we dance for madness, we dance for fears, we dance for hopes, we dance for screams, we are the dancers, we create the dreams."

Soulplay Dance is a new up and coming dance performance academy that offers training in contemporary dance, ballet, street, jazz and dance exercise. Teaching ages range from 4 years old+ (this includes classes for teenagers and adult classes). Whether you dance for experience, just for fun or for health benefits Soulplay Dance can cater for your needs.
Contemporary dance has it's roots in ballet and some likeness to jazz, but it generally has more flow. It's not street dance, although it's equally as exhilarating and more creative! Contemporary dance celebrates uniqueness and helps to use the students' imaginations, helping young bodies to develop and not so young bodies to stay healthy and supple.
Ballet is a beautiful but incredibly precise form of physical & artistic expression. It is a great way to reap the health benefits of dance as well as learning self-discipline and body control. It gives an elevated sense of physical awareness, but also respects the incredible possibilities of the human body.
Street Dancing is a form of dancing that can use a lot of different styles. It requires a lot of energy and imagination from the pupil. This dance style allows you to create something that is your own through innovation and creativity. The constant need for improvisation to build something that is new and exciting is what makes street dancing a fun experience. No matter how old, you can enjoy this wonderful form, and it keeps you in good shape.
Jazz dance is a form of modern dance which is greatly influenced by the sounds, rhythms, and techniques of jazz music. Jazz dance, like jazz music is very much about individuality. It highlights the individual skills of the dancer such as improvisation, as well as working with other dancers to achieve a desired look and feel.
Come and learn and create something special, meet new friends and be apart of our group dance performances. Our classes encourage male and female students to develop healthy dance technique in a non-competitive way.
